Crafting, cooking & smithing
Use stations, meet recipe requirements, and understand cooking batches and burns.
Read the recipe first
The recipe index separates cooking, crafting, and smithing. A reference recipe lists the required level, ingredients and quantities, output, and experience reward. Follow ingredient links to inspect an item and its recorded recipes or enemy sources.
Recipes in the field guide describe content definitions. A station may offer only a selection of recipes, so use its in-game menu to see what is available there.
Craft at a table
Approach and face a crafting table, then interact. Select a recipe for which you meet the Crafting level and ingredient requirements. Successful crafting consumes those ingredients and puts the output in your inventory.
The output must fit after the ingredients are removed. If there is not enough inventory space, the game asks you to make room before crafting. Recipes with an experience reward grant Crafting experience on success.
Cook a batch
At a cooking station, choose a recipe and quantity. You need the recipe's Cooking level and enough of every ingredient. The batch size cannot exceed the amount your ingredients can supply.
Cooking takes time for each item. A cook can burn according to the recipe's burn chance at your level. Successful cooks grant Cooking experience; burns do not. The session stops if you run out of ingredients or cannot fit the result into your inventory.
Smithing requirements
Smithing uses its own skill, recipes, level checks, and ingredient requirements. Check the smithing recipe's inputs rather than assuming that a crafting or cooking level qualifies you.
Gathering locations and full crafting routes still need reviewed walkthroughs. This guide describes the verified station and recipe behavior.
